The Suite Life

This year I'm rooming with five of my friends in a suite here on campus. We have a very industrial-looking bathroom (with urinal! ewww), a common room and a balcony. Even though we're in the shabbier "traditional" style dorms, I really like the setup.

Our suite is extremely musical. We have an electric piano in our common room, and besides myself we have two cellists, a clarinetist (base and regular!), a retired flute player, and a singer. On top of that (literally and figuratively...), one of the guys upstairs plays the piano and another plays the djembe. We've had some pretty cool jam sessions, if I may say so myself.


When we're not jamming, we're probably decorating the walls with paper art, visiting instead of doing homework, actually doing homework (at 1am??), or playing frisbee. All of this is spotted with the occasional corny joke (courtesy of yours truly)

In all, our suite gets along quite well. We're all a bit odd (except for me of course), slightly messy, quite easygoing, and prone to spontaneous dance parties. Add this all up and you get one "suite" concoction!
